  2. Yeah, thanks. Some of those ‘old school’ hits by The Temptations & Four Tops are really nice. But I have to be in that kind of mood.

  3. Actually, it’s the other way around.

    When that type of ‘old school’ music is played, regardless of the current mood, it always creates a positive vibe.

    i.e. it’s the music that creates/dictates the mood, not the mood which dictates/creates the perception of the music, at least, when the music is truly first rate, in my book.

    e.g. I dare anyone to listen to an old school classic like, ‘Stand By Me’, and then not feel just that much more uplifted from the experience.
