First of all, in truth the title of this week’s song is Shine On Me Pt. 2 by one of my favorite bands, Mt. Juliet’s own Flat Rock Revival. Secondly, it is finally Friday! Man this has been one heck of a long week.
So last Sunday with the whole time change thing I managed to have my eyes pop wide open at the incredibly evil hour of 6 in the morning. Since I had time to kill before the rest of Tennessee decided to stir I began playing with this software that the wife found on our computer. It is called Windows Movie Maker. I grabbed my Flat Rock cd and scoured the computer for all of the photos that The School Girl and SueBoo took when we have seen the band live and added them to a few I swiped (with permission) from the band’s website. I proceeded to run all of this stuff through the software and bob’s your uncle, I made a video.
This song is very inspirational for me. I always have to sing it out loud and it truly makes me feel good inside. Just listen to the lyrics to see what I mean. The chorus really speaks to me:
