State Park Graffiti

I wrote yesterday about my excursion to some state parks we made during vacation located in the nether regions of Tennessee. One of the interesting things about going to these places is reading all of the carvings in trees and other wooden objects placed in the area that people have written on or carved. Generally, you get stuff like “Billy loves Sissy”, “For a good time call Velvet” or something like that. Every once in awhile; though, you will get a gem.

At one place on some random pole was this little ditty:

Graffiti

Love Conquers All

A very upbeat statement. A nice positive vibe…that was squashed by someone who wrote an addendum just below it:

Graffiti

Love Stinks

Someone is very bitter. Also, one of my favorite J. Geils Band tunes.

My favorite graffiti that I saw was this little nugget of hilarity:

won’t give me
a mouth hug

First of all, I bet she won’t because it was January and quite cold. Also, the term ‘mouth hug’ is not one that I am familiar with but will begin putting into serious rotation.
