Now we have the fourth installment of my series in which I was challenged by blogger Blessed1 from Daily Blessings. You can read part one by clicking here, part two by clicking here and part three by clicking here.
Well, where to go for part four? I think that this time I will talk about young ones. I thought about going with just my son, Little Harry, but I think I will encompass all of the little people for this.
Children are truly a blessing all by themselves. For me they make me feel younger even though at times my son makes me feel ancient (he is almost 15 ya’ll!). They make me feel important. They need help for lots of tasks. They require information. You know what I am talking about…questions, questions, questions. Most importantly is the fact that they are so innocent. It makes my heart swell to know that they are sheltered from a lot of the stuff that can make the world stop going round and round.
Without the children we wouldn’t have a legitimate reason to play with those Legos or that Star Wars video game or read the Golden Books. The kids help invigorate me even though sometimes I think they may youth-enize me. My children, my nephews and neices, my friend’s kids, the little ones in the stores that smile at you just because you smiled first, all of them are blessings.

I’ve always wondered if one of the big reasons people have kids is so that they (adults) can play with all the toys… Sure makes the Holidays more fun.
Great word: youth-enize!
Youth-enize. I love it!!! Do you mind if I borrow the term from now on as long as I attribute the credit to you for inventing it?:)
Please feel free to put any of the crazy words I might invent into widespread usage.
My husband would fully agree….kids are reasons to get to play video games and restore our youth. Love Love Love this post! You’re such a blessing Leblanc with your wonderful heart in your writing!
