This past Monday was April Fool’s Day. What a serious waste of time but I won’t get into that. Anyway, the wife and I were out at Wal-Mart getting a bit of grocery shopping done that day. I’m not sure how your Wal-Mart is set up but at the one in the boondocks our eggs are directly across from the beer. That makes sense right?
So, we are headed to grab a dozen eggs and I like to peruse the beer to see if there is anything new or imported or whatever. Something grabbed my attention this fine day and shook me. What I saw almost made me ill. I could not believe what was being combined with the wonderfulness of beer.
I thought this was some kind of joke. Is this an actual thing that people do at home or order in bars? Why in the name of everything that is holy would you combine beer with clamato juice? Has anyone tried this or does anyone think this would be delicious?
Ha! That’s like mixing peanut butter and cottage cheese! Forget it! Methinks Budweiser is showing a bit of desperation on this one. Maybe I’ll boycott beer this month and stick to wine, martinis, and virgin mary’s.
I tried it.
