A Show About Blogging

I saw a preview tonight while watching last weekend’s rerun of Saturday Night Live featuring **sigh** Tom Brady of my beloved **sigh** New England Patriots. It seems that quite soon a new television show on NBC called Quarterlife will be airing that for all intents and purposes looks like a show that revolves around a girl, her blog and her life.

Apparently there is an online video series of the show on MySpace over here.

Here is the trailer I saw that caught my attention and intrigued me. What do you bloggers and blog readers think?

Back When MTV Played Videos 3

Well YouTube let me down again. I wanted to post a video for the “The Break-Up Song” by Greg Kihn but did they have it? Not really. Sure there were cover versions but I wanted the original so I thunk-thunk-thunk and came up with this tune. Here is one of my favorite 1981 tunes from The Tubes called “Talk To Ya Later“:

The School Girl emailed this link to me today and thought you might get a kick out of it. Here is the video:

Everything’s Coming Up Milhouse*

This week has been one heck of a week. First of all I was on vacation on Monday and enjoyed my wife’s birthday with her.

Tuesday I interviewed for another new position within my company. A few weeks back I interviewed for a position where I would be taking phone calls like I do now but I would only be talking to other employees. Although the interview went well, I was left hanging and others are now training for it. This lack of a new position became exacerbated when we found out two weeks ago that our department would be closing in Nashville effective the end of March. Yikes! This happened once before when I was in the email department. I am starting to get a complex here. So anyway, I interviewed for a loan research job, one that doesn’t leave me tethered to my desk. Well kids, 48 hours later, LeBlanc has a new position. Huzzah!

Milhouse

An even better piece of news came through this week as well. As some of you may know, my father-in-law has been holed up in the VA hospital for almost 3 months. Rumor has it that Mr Ivan The Terrible will be released to go home either next Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday! He has come a long way, baby!
