Again, I went a very respectable 3-1 in my picks for the second round. Not too bad again don’t ya think Mr. Mack? If it wasn’t for those darned San Diego Chargers mucking it all up for the second straight week, I too could have been perfect.
Oh well, it’s time to move on and get hyped up for the Conference Championships. Both games are Sunday this week and will get kicked off in lovely Foxboro.

San Diego Chargers @ New England Patriots
I was truly hoping for the Colts to make the trip but alas they blew it against a depleted Bolts team. With their eyes firmly on the prize, a reinvigorated running game and a nearly perfect Tom Brady, I can’t see the Chargers pulling the phenomenal upset. Pick: New England
New York Giants @ Green Bay Packers
I have believed in this Giants squad since they gave my Pats a good game back in week 17, however, I think the magic is gone. I believe in Brett Favre. Never count out the old guy, he is crafty. The guy deserves to play in one more Super Bowl before he hangs up the spikes. Pick: Green Bay
I picked these two teams way back in week 5 of the regular season and cannot stray. This would be a great matchup all around. Who wouldn’t love the drama of the guy who was supposedly washed up trying to prevent perfection? It is too, well, perfect.
